2 Weeks Until BEA!

Now I’m really beginning to get excited, not that I wasn’t before, but there are only two more weeks until BEA! I have been planning and plotting everything about my trip for months, from my clothing to the autograph sessions I’ll be attending. Today, I thought I’d share just who I am super stoked to meet in person. Trust me, I want to meet as many authors as I can, but some I’ve met previously at other events. About Laura Howard

Laura Howard lives in New Hampshire with her husband and four children. Her obsession with books began at the age of 6 when she got her first library card. Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High and other girly novels were routinely devoured in single sittings. Books took a backseat to diapers when she had her first child. It wasn’t until the release of a little novel called Twilight, 8 years later, that she rediscovered her love of fiction. Soon after, her own characters began to make themselves known. The Forgotten Ones is her first published novel.

Thinking of BEA again today, I am reminded of 2012 and wanted to share some of my favorite with you. I met so many wonderful people and had so much fun! I can’t wait to do it all over again in just 3 weeks!

Planning for BEA

It’s that time again! New York is calling my name, as it is many other bloggers, writers, authors, educators and librarians. May 29-June 1 the Javits Center is the place to be.

Last year I navigated one day of BEA by myself. Scary right? Yup! Especially since the morning I was to travel into the city, I awoke covered in hives. The trooper I am, I took Benydryl and made extra strong coffee, never missing a beat. No way was I missing a day to surround myself with books!

Unlike last year, this year I am attending the whole shabang! YAY! I also have my planned so full with activities that I don’t think I will have any time to pee or eat!

Since this year’s BEA is so exciting for me, I thought I’d blog over the next few weeks about my plans. Last year, I accidently met a few bloggers I’d heard of and a few authors I didn’t know were attending. This year I’d definitely love to meet more peeps from this wonderful community we have on the web. Let me know if you’re going by sending out a Tweet or DM me @kissedbyink.
